Yes. Access to care in our community is a pressing priority. Through the recruitment of new providers, we have seen improvement in access times for many specialty practices and primary care. This fall, NMC is pleased to be welcoming:

  • Elizabeth Disney, MD, OB/GYN, in August of 2019;
  • Cecilia Disney, MD, Family Practice, in September of 2019; and
  • Nathan Mauser, MD, Orthopaedics, in September of 2019.

We are also pleased to be opening an Endocrinology Clinic in partnership with the University of Vermont Health Network in October of 2019. For more information on these newly arriving physicians or for assistance in finding a provider, please call NMC Community Relations at (802) 524-1280.

At the same time, we are working through an advancement on our journey towards one integrated electronic health record. Ultimately, this will allow providers of all specialties to access your entire health record in one location, with ease and convenience. The transition has slowed some of our processes as we adjust to new functionality and workflows. This has temporarily reduced the availability of appointments in some practices. We are working through this process and seeing access beginning to be restored.
